Dense, textured, and full of heart, the Lethbridge band’s music is constantly pushing boundaries, weaving in elements of indie rock, experimental textures, and lush arrangements. Think Spiritualized meets Sufjan Stevens, but with a distinct Albertan undercurrent. At the center of it all are songs that cut deep — personal, introspective, and raw. Their latest self-titled album is their most vulnerable yet, exploring themes of self-identity, honesty, and the struggle to carve out space in the world. It also highlights underrepresented voices in folk music, particularly from South Asian and LGBTQ+ perspectives — something rarely heard in Alberta’s folk scene.
